Tid flyger förbi fylld med alla måsten. Ibland tror du dig att ha kontroll över saker och ting, ibland känner du dig helt överväldigad. Du har roligt, du är utmattad. Du skrattar, du gråter. Du hoppar så fort mellan olika roller (mamma, chef, dotter, hustru, väninna, kollega) att du inte vet vem du är längre. Du lär dig och kommer på briljanta idéer. Du glömmer namn, nycklar, och var du parkerade bilen. Du löser komplicerade logistiska utmaningar och utför mirakel. Du sitter och känner dig slut och oförmögen att tänka en enda tanke. Du kramas och pussas, du känner dig ensam. Du är slut och trött. Du är redo och hålla igång i flera timmar till om det behövs. Allt under en och samma dag. Så är det är att vara mitt-i-livet.
Det är detta boken ”I don’t know how she does it” eller ”28 timmar på ett dygn” handlar om. En lätt läsning om en svår uppgift att vara en småbarnsmamma mitt-i-livet, mitt-i-karriären, och mitt-i-äktenskapet. Här är några citat som smakprov:
